In this approach, antibody fragments are employed to facilitate effective penetration of solid tumors, delivering a payload into the core of the tumor. Attached as stable recombinant fusions, Viventia's payloads are designed to specifically activate within the cell and to remain inert outside the cell. Since conjugated antibody therapeutics comprise both the selectivity of tumor targeting with the potency of traditional anti-cancer therapies, these drugs hold significant promise as safe and effective standalone drugs.
